Verizon Strike and M5 Networks: Week One
Our New York City office is a few doors down from one of the Verizon office buildings. For the last seven days my coworkers and I have walked passed the picketers on our way to and from work.
It's a constant reminder that this strike isn't just a story on the 10 o'clock news. This is real and it's affecting everyone. Beyond labor relations and taking sides, this issue is causing a major negative impact across the eastern seaboard.
As expected, service and resolution time has declined and is being experienced by our vendor partners and by M5. We've been actively communicating with our customers about these delays and our staff is continuing to work hard to lessen the impact on the business owner.
